  • Hole 1 | Par 4

The bay extends along the East side of the golf course, and, what seems just a few hundred yards away stands The American icon, the Statue of Liberty.

As the players arrive at the second tee, they will turn left to face the green, and the view is breathtaking.

  • Hole 3 | Par 4

Here players turn to the right, away from the excitement of the Bay but towards more spectacular golf.

The most striking feature is beyond the trees is a unique view, different than anything in golf, the Manhattan skyline, gleaming in the afternoon sun.

  • Hole 5 | Par 4

On this par four, the fairway looks narrow from the tee, but is actually very forgiving other than water to the left.

  • Hole 6 | Par 5

Along a trail off the back collar, players come to the sixth tee, the first par five. Trees line both sides of the wide tee shot landing area.

  • Hole 7 | Par 4

This is a long par four, and hence, a long approach shot. The green, one of the largest, is well guarded on the right by a sculpted bunker.

  • Hole 8 | Par 5

A trek through those large mounds arrives at the longest hole on the course, the par five eight, clearly a three-shotter.

  • Hole 9 | Par 4

Up a small slope to the right of the green is the ninth tee. The tee shot is linked by a tress all down the right side and another lake sits on the left.

  • Hole 10 | Par 5

It is at this point that the course literally turns toward home, back to the north, now in front of the prevailing wind.

  • Hole 11 | Par 3

This is the longest par tree on the property, just over 250 yards from the very back tees. A long bunker separates the green from the lake on the left.

  • Hole 12 | Par 4

Upon leaving the green at eleven, players will climb a small rise to a spectacular promontory overlooking the remainder of the golf course.

  • Hole 13 | Par 5

A series of bunkers on the right side might be carried, but the distance is right on the cusp of what most can do from their respective tees.

  • Hole 14 | Par 3

The short walk to the tee brings the player fully back to the links, now with waves of upper New York Bay lapping gently on the shore.

  • Hole 15 | Par 4

The fifteenth moves inland on the southern fringe of the large open links potion of the course along a large primary dune on the left side.

  • Hole 16 | Par 4

At sixteen, the wind comes more from the left than from behind. This has a marked effect on how many will play the shot.

  • Hole 17 | Par 4

It is here that the sense of place comes flooding back. Most courses, coming home is just one hole. At Liberty, it is two.

On the eighteenth tee the final image comes into view. The newest jewels of the bay coast, a dazzling contemporary masterpiece of a clubhouse.
